Default Flashpaq tuner

Im wondering if i get the flashpaq tuner for a 2010 ram can i disable the mds ? Also, Ive never bought one of these. I can get one $340. Do you guys think it makes a big difference in performance and is it worth the money?

Yes, it will disable the MDS.

Most owners think it's worth the bucks. I have one and use it primarily for custom tranny shifting preferences but that feature is an extra 35 or 40 bucks.

Is is worth the $$, but you can get it for less. Much less. New ones are out there around $299, and you can usually find used on Craigslist or EBay for 175-200.

93 tune, knock down torque mgt, disable MDS. Paid 285 for the flashpaq in 2009 from Truckcustomizers. I live in back woods area and this MDS needed to go. Best perf mod for the money.

Thanks guys. I just got the flashpaq in the mail today. #3865. Im seeing in the directions tuning for 87 and 91 octane, but not 89. I usually run 89. Id run 91 but im not sure i want to pay that much for gas. Maybe when i turn it on it will have 89 option. Also my directions say it for a jeep. Must be the same program. Any tips on what to do? Im going for performance and turn the mds off if i can.
