A very common problem with the 3rd gens is that the window lock button breaks so that the only way to roll down the windows is from the master switch (only driver can control the windows). well this happened to me and so I bought a brand new switches for about $100 of ebay. Found a diy to fix the issue when my brand new switch broke too. So I fixed both the old and new switch and put the old back in my truck and have the new one that I fixed for sale. The one in my truck works flawlessly.
$40 shipped and will refund $10 if you send me back your old broken switch. Just seeing if there is any interest in this to make me some extra mod money

this is a very easy installation for anyone who doesnt know how to take their old one out, you pop out the whole window switch panel thing, unplug the 2 connectors on the back...done.

i have that problem... and another one too. Sometimes i have to pull my master switch out to make my windows work at all... or slid it forwards and backwards amillion times until it gets power... Think it will fix that as well?

 

Yep this should fix it. I use to have to hit mine until it would work.
