Default 2005 1500 axle 4 sale -$500.00 OBO

This is the axle that I had in before I switched it out for the 3/4 ton axle.
I will pull the cover and check it out if I get a serious offer.
20,000 miles on a NEW housing with original left axle shaft, New right side shaft, and all new bearings. This was rebuilt by 5 corners dodge in Cedarburg, WI and I have the invoice. I replaced it when I was afraid that I would just wreck another 1500 axle again. There were no noises in THIS axle when It was pulled. The one before it snapped the right axle shaft and bent the previous housing so all bad parts were replaced when rebuilt.

It comes with calipers, and some of the brake lines. The rotors and pads are not great, and it needs a new ABS sensor in the hole on top.

It has been sitting inside the shed out of the weather since April, with the ABS sensor hole covered.

3.92 factory LSD.

I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC, SO THEREFORE, IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO LOOK AT IT AND PICK IT UP INSTEAD OF HAVING ME SHIP IT. IT WILL BE SOLD AS-IS.

Questions, PM me, and I will respond as soon as I can.

If you SERIOUSLY want to buy, You can call me at (2six2)689-2353.

I can figure out a way to ship it, but it will be very expensive, as it is really heavy. Probably around $300.00 or so depending on your location. I can deliver into Illinois, Minnesota, or Indiana, $1.75/loaded mile. I have a forklift, so loading it is no problem, but DO NOT SHOW UP WITH A GEO METRO AND EXPECT IT TO FIT.

IF I GET NO OFFERS, IT IS GOING INTO THE NEXT DEMOLITION DERBY CAR IN EARLY SUMMER WHEN I START BUILDING IT, SO IT WILL NOT BE AROUND MUCH AFTER MAY.

here are some pictures of the 9-1/4 axle. Not great as my camera was dead, so I borrowed a webcam. The steel wheels do not come with the axle.

No offers? Come on, This is a much easier way to upgrade from your 3.55 gears! Bolt it on and install your brakes.

I will DELIVER it within 100 miles for the posted sale price. It is also for sale on ebay for another 4 days with a low reserve.

is the 2005 any different that the 2003? I just rebuilt my 9.25 but having another wouldn't be a bad thing I'm in ohio....

I don't think so, but someone else might know more. Call the dealer maybe they can tell you. Call me if you are interested.
