Default 20" Chrome Clad Rims

Anyone have a complete set (4) of chrome clad rims that they want to sale for a descent price? I have 20" aluminum rims and have been kicking around the idea of buying a set of chrome clad rims. The dealership wants way to much for them new.

Please email me at danieldavis88@yahoo.com

I wouldn't even bother buying a new set. get "wheel skins" for your alum wheels. That is what I did, and they look better than the clad ones...

Like "Bighornz" says, go with wheel skins
They`re way cheaper and still have the exact same effect as chrome clad wheels.
Thats pretty much all the clads are, plastic chrome skins over the aluminum wheel.
At least with wheelskins, if they get broke, cracked, or peel, you can replace them alot cheaper than replacing a factory chrome clad wheel.
Another nice thing about wheelskins, you cant tell the difference if they`re real chrome wheels at 55mph...lol

I took my 20" clads off my truck for the winter, bought a set of brand new "take-off`s " (17") steel factory wheels off from ebay for $200 (hub caps, wheel sensors, lug nuts were all included in the sale) I put wheel skins on the 17" factory steel wheels, and it looks great. Those 20" truck tires are way to pricey for me, so thats why i bought the 17" wheels for just winter tires. Nope, i dont wanna sell my clads either, they`ll go back on the truck in the spring or if i trade it in before then.
(sorry, no pics of my truck with the skins, like me, my dam camera is to old to work with my pooter here)

If you are really wanting the chrome clads then I sold mine about 6 months ago for 400$. I am sure that you could easily get a set for 400$ or 500$. If not then you can go with the skins for 400$. Its all about personal preference.

I have looked into the chrome wheel skins. Do they really look that good? What about the ones with the center hole cut out? I know the chrome clad rims are just covers, but they are also plastic? I thought they were metal chrome plated. Can anyone tell me if the wheel skins have messed up their rims at all? I don't want to use them if they are going to scar up my current wheels. They are definitely a cheaper way to go, just don't want my truck to look like it has cheap hub caps on it.

Yes, the factory chrome clad wheels only have plastic chrome skins, they`re not metal.
As for buying skins, you pretty much get what you pay for buyin those.
Cheap price, cheap skins, pretty much goes without saying.
Pay a little higher gets you better quality skins.

I checked out that link that "Bighorns" put in here...those are pretty dam nice skins, price was pretty decent if you ask me.
Like i said ealier, i have skins on my wheels, and they look awesome..! They have NOT messed up my rims either.
Wish i could take pics so you could see them, but i cant.

Mine came with stock chrome wheel skins. I guess thats what they are called. They do look good, (shiny) but lets be real about this. Plastic is plastic. When I first found out I had plastic fake rims on my truck I felt awful dumb for not knowing.
There is something wrong with plastic fake wheel skins. They are plastic and anyone looking up close can tell.

I think you`ve been smokin to much of that blue stuff in your picture....lol.
As for wheel skins, alot depends on what you pay for them, i`ve seen some really nice sets for $120 bucks.
Thats alot cheaper than buyin 4 factory dodge chrome clads that look just about the same.
(and at 65mph, you cant tell the difference anyway, and plastic dosent corrode)
Check these out...!!! http://www.wheelskin.com/s331.html

I just sold my 20" chrome clads (rims only) for $750. Turned around and threw on some 20" Monsters that I bought for $600!
