Default Rip or tear in my seat

So i have an 09 sport ram and now have a rip in my seat where it worn down from getting in and out of my truck. So my question is if anyone knows of a quick and easy way to fix this. I was thinking maybe super glue underneath the tear to keep it there and not spreading. Not sure so let me know if you guys have any "remedies" so to speak to fix a tear in the leather. Here is a picture also.

I agree, take it in. They can fix this. However.... Given where it is and the wear and tear it takes no matter what you do it will likely come back. That almost looks like you had something in your pocket or a snap/something sharp on you.

If your legs are not long enough to raise your azz off th seat a little get some step bars, it will help.

Best option would be to take it in to an upholstery shop, but it'll cost 'ya.

Second choice would be to pick up one of those vinyl/leather repair kits for about $15 at most craft stores or Wally World. I slashed a seat in my bass boat once and used one of these "As Seen on TV" kits to repair it. Almost couldn't tell it was torn and it stayed repaired for the following 3 years 'till I sold the boat...

Take it to the upholstery shop. I recently found a local in my area to work on tear on the seat of my 2002 vette. I was surprised at how easy it was for them to fix it. They had the seat off in minutes (4 nuts with a power tool), then the guy cut of the hog rings and pulled the seat cover off. Next he found some matching material and un-stitched the torn part, spread it out and made a new piece and re assembled the cover. they had the seat repaired in 2 hours while I waited for it. Cash deal was $100.

Or, go to a good leather shop - you would be amazed at the work a good leathercraftsman can do with specialized glue, and a leather patch underneath the seatcover - might also be surprised at the cost! Specialized leather glues stay supple, penetrate the surface of the leather and patch, and the repairs are almost invisible....

Or you could do it yourself and screw it up, just because its the first time you attempted this sort of repair.
I'd go with the leather shop.

Try the dealer first your truck can't be 3 years old yet is it? Our Avenger got the drivers bottom part of the seat when it looked frayed, not sure if it was something my kid was wearing like velcro pocket attachments, my son used to have those on his shorts could have been the problem but he was in the truck too and it didn't have that problem but anyway they replaced it around 2 years old under warranty.
