Default HIDs in my newish halo/projectors suck

Ok I bought a set of lights off of Gary on here and he said he wasnt happy with the light output, and he wasnt joking, I had HIDs without projectors before and they put out 20xs the light these are....To me something just isnt correct , was thinking the aiming but after looking at them I really doubt that it helps at all...Could it be crappy bulbs? Im not kidding when I say I am missing my stock headlights, the lows on them put out a lot more usuable lights then these. Please any input, I love the way they look and want to really keep them but wow they SUCK...Posting link where I bought them from gary and he gave a link in there to the brand

Honestly they are headlights designed around cosmetics, not functionality.... I dont know if you'll be able to fix them, maybe dont buy lights from someone that says their output sucks

Projectors do improve visibility, projectors are great.... Cheap ebay projectors are not the same. Some people outfit their own projectors for these trucks and those are great. Are you using the same HIds you had in before? Maybe its the new HIDs that are giving you problems

I'm just gonna guess here. Those projectors were for halogen bulbs, not HIDs. Big difference in the way they're made to throw the beam. Some companies don't care what they sell you. Morimoto Bi Xenon H1 projectors are the projector of choice for most retros.

He maybe able to save you ebay lights or build you anything you want.
Note that dual projectors can't be done on stock quads. Nor are they needed if done right in the first place.

I've heard Sliver Stars work better then stock. But almost anything is. Do a search on P-n-P HID kits for a direct replacement kit. Not the same as a projector by any means but a big upgrade from halogens.
