Default Lift options

Hey guys, i have an 09 ram sport with the 5.7 crew cab. Im hoping to do some mods on it in the near future and one is a lift. i was reading in a magazine that the '10-'11 can fit 37s with a 6" lift but the only number they had for the 09 was a 2" lift. i was wondering if i could fit 37s on a 6" without rubbing if i take it offroad. also, i was thinkin of going with a pro-comp, skyjacker, trail master, or fab-tech. Does tuff country make a 6", i could only find a 2"?

37"s will clear with a 6" lift. BDS, Superlift, Zone Offroad, Procomp, and Rough Country all make a 6" kit.

Alright, thanks. Ive heard some people complain about different brands, im thinkin of goin with the pro-comp, would i be better off with one of the others? also, will the new rear coils sag as easy as the stock rears or will they handle weight a little better

I havent heard a single complaint about any particular lift kit but i have heard complaints about how most of them can still retain the rake. The aftermarket springs are designed to sag less.

ive been reading on here that some lifts need you to use either aftermarket rims or wheel spacers with the stock rims, i would like to stick with my stock rims, has anyone had to add spacers to keep their stock rims? by the looks of what ive found the pro-comp needs spacers but the superlift doesnt

I just recently put a 6"pro comp in my 2010 and am very happy with the look. The guys that installed it gave the pro comp a good review they were not as impressed with the rough country . As for the wheel spacers i think that the stock rims will fit without spacers i put them on for a wider stance look .

Default Spacer

You will need at least a 1/4 spacer with any 6 inch lift if the back spacing is 5.5 have done a few and the all needed spacers with 20 inch wheels.

Go with the procomp stage 2.This is what I have, with no problems. The ride will be better than stock.Well built, and keeps components at close to factory angles...Can't go wrong with this kit...But do your own research,be satisfied with your purchase. This kit is more expensive, but (you get what you pay for).....One thing to remember, this stage 2 kit requires some cutting, and going back to factory, would mean welding the factory support back into position.

has anybody put in the Superlift 6inch? The site says you dont need a spacer for the stock 20 inch rims.
