Dead FOB?
Problem started when battery got weak in wife's Challenger FOB.

Found this answer: The push button "Start Button" cap cover can be easily removed with your fingers by using a fingernail (or key in FOBIK) under the bottom (6-o'clock) and pulling the button towards yourself. The FOBIK can then be inserted into the opening and used like a standard to start in the car by turning it to the right noting the switch positions.
This can be used in the case of a "key fob not detected" message or a "push button start" failure.
NOTE:
The battery in the FOBIK can be completely DEAD and the WIN ignition module will power the FOBIK when inserted.
Took the battery out of my FOB and the truck cranked. I feel better about things.............
