Default Roof leaking

Anyone having problems with leaking hoods? My headliner has a few water marks so I know it's been happening a while; I just started noticing it today. Also its on the rear pillars of a crew cab

Third brake light is leaking. You have to seal it on. The dealer will silicone it on but I'm looking in to this now so you still can remove incase of a burnt bulb.

Could be 3 different areas. Some trucks have bad seals on the roof seems, could be third brake light. Or the seal for the rear window at the top could not be sealed completely letting water leak in at the top of the glass above the headliner.

Even though there is a Sat antenna on the roof, i have yet to hear of it leaking, so its normally one or more of the places i listed above

I was running fence post with a stringline and I got it caught under my sat antenna...it almost pulled it off. A couple of weeks down the road it leaked around the area but eventually stopped so I guess the stringline was the cause. Haven't had any leaks since but I'll know what to look for if I do.

I got a leak on the rear passenger side seal of the cab roof. With a sticker a $40,000+ it amazes the problems I'm having, heck my second gen has less issues at the moment. KNOCK ON WOOD

do you have a sunroof? if so some of the new trucks have been shipped from the factory during preps that had sunroof drain tubes disconnected from the sunroof. they also clog fairly easy and cause water build up on the top of the a pillar headliner and down the a pillar through the bolt holes. there was also an RRT involving sealing the 3rd brake lamp for leaks because of incorrect sealing

My bet that its the top cab mounted brakelight gasket leaking.
Same issue here dude. (one of MANY issues my truck has...!!!!) The top cab mounted brake light is what caused mine to ruin the headliner. The gasket for the brakelight is very poor quality. (extremly under engineered in my opinion) Its been well over a month since i had the stealership look at it, and to this day, i havent heard a fuggin word back from them if they are gonna warranty the headliner due to the leak and staining it left. Had water all over my leather seats in the back...NOT FUGGIN KOOL AT ALL...!!! The dumb azz service manager took a couple pictures with his cell phone, i cant imagine chrysler is going to see the stains very well with a cell phone picture. (DUHHHH) I cant believe that is even allowed. The dealership should be equipped with a REAL camera so the stains would at least show how bad they really are. What a shame for what we pay for these trucks today and all the issues we end up having with them. With 20,000 miles on mine, the rearend blew out last week...not impressed with dodge right now...!!!!! The service is just horrible, and the truck isnt far behind in my opinion.

Thats because the are all brand new parts, every part of the 09+ are new, it just means new problems that chrysler has to find and fix. The sunroofs leaking is a normal thing across the big 3, its not just a chrysler issue
