Default Help: RR 4in lift kit installed, now wich spacers and tires?

Hi Everybody, just installed Rough Country 4in lift kit, IMO truck looks great but now I would really like to change wheels and tires, anybody can tell me which spacers size should I buy? 1-1/2in or 2in?? I was thinking of putting Nitto trail grappler, rim size 17 or 18 and 305 width are they really that noisy???

thanks in advance for any suggestion!!!!!

Spacers, especially on a 3 ton truck are a bad idea. Buy wheels with the proper backspacing, don't do it the hillbilly way.

I like it the way it is, have been waiting to see one done with the stock rims/wheels.

I just put michelins LTX A/T 2 and love them, my original goodyears got 43k but sucked as far as balancing, guess my next project is a lift, how much for the kit you put on and install?

I just did the Rough Country 4" lift, kept my stock 20" rims and put on 35" Nitto Terra Grapplers. I drove it for a few days w/o any spacers, but today added 1/4" spacers to the front. It's still kinda tight, was thinking 1/2" might be a little better, but I'm going to try this first. I love the lift and tires so far. Terra's are super quiet on the highway - they get their first test up some mountain trails tomorrow.

I spent 1250$ plus 300$ for install.

Hi - been MIA for a bit, sorry. I've done some camping and been through the mountains a bit with it now, so I've had an opportunity to test it out more. I've hauled a trailer full of wood/stone and been loaded with gear too. I definately like the lift. It really needed the extra 4" of clearance. I have 1/4" spacers up front, no noticeable rubbing, but sure seems tight in there. I have no spacers in the rear, but after going through some ruts, I can see where my rears rubbed the inner fender well liner. Considersing some rear spacers now too. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on that??? I love the tires, they're quiet on the road. Couple of other things, my speedo is a bit off, not so much at slow speeds, but up around the 60-70mph range, it can be off as much as 3-4 mph - so keep that in mind. Also, I'll occasionally get a wobble around that same 60-70 mph mark. Not sure if it's tire balance, the lift or what. Sometimes it's worse that others. Again, anyone have any thoughts on that?? I'll try and get some pics together and post them soon, so you can get an idea what my setup is.

Ok .. I just posted some pictures in my profile 'garage'. They quality is horrible compared to the beauties you posted. Dreary wet snowy weather and a pics from my phone aren't the best combo. I'll try to get some better pics up soon.
