Default Tire Wear After Ready Lift SST -help

Need some help

I recently had a Ready Lift SST kit in stalled on my truck. I had it aligned after the lift and 500 miles later notice my front outer tires chopping pretty bad. I had the alignment rechecked and had minor adjustments done and had it checked again a few days later...it was fine. However the problem seems to continue. Any ideas? Truck on has 11,000 miles on it and about 1000 miles on the level kit. Perhaps I should put on new shocks? I have stock wrangler HP tires on now and want to put on Nittos on but would like to fix this first. I know these tires are not that great, but really?

now that they front end is riding higher, it tends to float up and down more than before thus the outer wear. Try adjusting the camber to compensate for that. Sometimes you have to adjust the alignment outside the limits for proper tire wear.

Thx for the feedback

Are the soft goodyear tires making the wear seem worse?

Really need some opinions here. I really think the tires were just wearing poorly before the level and this made it worse but don't want to make that assumption without some feedback. Please help. I really like how the truck looks know.

2.8" lift struts and 1" block and after 10,000km everything is fine with stock tires I'd suggest a better alignment guy.....the specs given on the alignment machine don't work well on lifted trucks that's why most good lift companies supply alignment spec with their lifts. I set my alignment close to a 4" lifts spec's and everything has been fine

Thanks. Everywhere I have looked until has said that to keep the factory allignment. Can anyone tell me where to get specs the would work for toe and camber? I think the tires were doing this before the lift so not sure to blame it on the loft or the wranger hp tires which I do not hear great things about.

I'm not going to comment on the alignment issue but as far as the HPs go I've had them as original equipment on 2 of my trucks now and have had no issues with them. For pavement use I find nothing wrong with the HPs durability or milage wise but their lack traction on snow and ice makes them a tire I wouldn't buy as a replacement. I'd blame the wear on improper alignment specs for your lifted truck rather than tires.

You need slight negative camber to get rid of it.
