Default 2010 ST Front Bumper Cover Painted

I have a 2010 ST with the black front lip that I really don't like and want color matched.

What would it cost? What's the install process of getting this peice painted and then putting it on myself? Anyone done this before?

Thanks in advance.

I have always been a fan of flex additive. A shop would probably be willing to paint it for a couple hundred bucks. Just make sure they use a flex additive when they do it or else the paint will develop cracks.

Looks dynamite!

Do plan on doing chrome covers for the side mirrors? That would go well with the new front grille and chrome door handles you've added already.

A big improvement indeed. I don't think I've ever seen a Ram with chrome bumpers and grill with that black filler piece. My ST has the black filler but the whole grill and bumpers are black as well.

So what did you end up paying to have it done?

I'm undecided on whether i want the mirrors to color match or go chrome. Probably color match. And the upper bumper cover was 115 for a primered piece off Ebay and i had a shop i trust paint it for just under two hundred. Probably could have found it cheaper, buy i wanted it done right.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Hi,

Did you buy the aftermarket upper bumper cover?

If so how was the fit?

Also how much did it cost for you to get it painted?

Thanks in advance,
Anthony

I had the cover replaced and painted after I was involved in an accident. The dealer did the work and mentioned that the original black cover is hard to paint and was ordered from an SLT part number. I like the diffrence and added fender flares at the same time.
