Default Manifold bolt recall? What can I do about manifold bolts?

Ok, I went out to my truck one morning and it had a horrible exhaust leak. I could tell it was a passenger side manifold gasket. So I took it in no problem they took care of it. BUT the ended up having to order a head for it because they couldn't get the rest of the bolt out of the head, and drilled into a water jacket or some crap like that. So my question is, is it a bolt defect? How can I get the other side taken care of? Supposedly they put upgraded bolts back in. And I would like to go ahead and take care of the drivers side before its an issue!

on my second set of bolts, seems to be inherent to the hemi that the passenger side gets real hot, if it happens again I am going with dyna tech headers and hi flo cats to cut down the restiction in the system and hopefully cool it a little, JMO.
