Unhappy Vibration In Front

I have been feeling a bad vibration in my front right for about a week now. At first it was only if I was doing 5 MPH or lower but now I can feel it at 25 MPH. I took it to the dealer because it felt like my tie rod was going and I know there was a recall for this. They looked at it and said that there's nothing wrong with my truck and it's my tires are cupped. I have 35" SS M16s on it and they were fine when rotated about 4k ago. Then they kept asking me if I wanted them to look for tires for me. Most of the Dodge dealerships where I'm at are terrible but I feel like this one just said something stupid thinking since I'm a chick I would go with it. The feeling in the truck is almost the exact same as when my husband's 03 tie rods were shot. Does anyone have any advice they could give me? I know it could be something other then tie rods but I have a hard time believing it's my tires.

Well, you are running some very aggressive mud tires and they do cause vibrations when cupped. Are the back ones in any better shape? If so, try them in the front. Why in the world are you running mud tires on the pavement? 35 inch mud tires will also put a lot of strain on the front end components so maybe you should find the best suspension shop in your area and have them look at it.

I got them because they were rated for good road use too. I've never had any real problems from them before except for the typical noise. The back ones are fine and when I looked at the tires last weekend they all seemed to be normal. I've been trying to find A/T's in the same size but it's either spend $500 a tire or they just don't come in my rim size. I had the same vibration when I had my tie rods replaced from the recall. I was just wondering if anyone was having similar issues. The tires look fine. They don't seem to have any supping or odd wear.

My husband had an issue at the dealer I went to before, so I have an appointment set up for a different dealer near my house. Hopefully it's not just me needing new tires but I guess we'll see. Thanks for the advice.

Most front end suspension/alignment shops will troubleshoot it for you for free. I myself don't trust the dealer as much as the smaller shops as they let you talk with the mechanics and will even show you the play if there is any. My dealer on the other hand, takes my truck to the back and won't allow me to walk into the shop area due to "insurance policy". The service writer then meets me and tries to sell me a bunch of un needed services like tires, shocks, fuel treatments and alignments, etc. etc. A good local shop will lift the wheels of the ground and use prybars and look for looseness right in front of you. Good luck.

I had a set of Wranger GSA's on my Jeep that caused something similiar, but only between 90-100kph.

One tire was apparantly out of round a bit (not sure if that is what you mean by cupped) and would go up and down when you watched it spin.

Swapped it to the back and the problem went away.

Have them check the front wheel bearings, both mine were shot after 60k miles.
