water incoming!!!! help
So I was going through the car wash and noticed a steady stream of water coming in the back right corner of my truck, at first i thought it was the seal on that corner of the back window, so i sealed it up with some all weather rtv and then i took it too the car wash again and its theres water on both back corners of my quad cab and i looked closly and it must have been doing it for awhile now cause there are water stains in the roof back there?!?!!?!?!??!?!?! Help!!! anyone have issues like this, could it be the little black thing im guessing is a sensor on the roof of the truck.
The dealer glued the 3rd brake light to the cab of the truck because there was an issue with the seal and it leaking, it didn't happen to me but it happened enough to other people that Chrysler had the dealers do this. The only bad thing is if the light go out you would have to take it to the dealer and have them replaced. They tried to charge me $100 to un-seal and re-seal it. But of course I got my way and they did it free of charge.
This is some advice from a poster on another forum.
Check at the end of the black strip that runs the length of the roof, it ends right at the top of the rear window. Just lift it up and look real close at the seam of the roof under it. You may have to pull the rubber seal for the window a little bit to see. Just use a small screwdriver to move it. Check to see if you notice any holes or gaps in this area.
If you do see any just seal it with a good RTV.
I went and sealed this area on my truck just for GP

Had the same problem with my truck. 3rd brake light was leaking, resealed it and hasn't leaked since.

2 places that are known leaks in 4th gen trucks:
3rd Brake Light (remove lense, seal with small film of silicone)
Roof Antenna (install a small bead of silicone around the base)
Spray bottle of 3M oxy clean to clean the headliner where the water leaks were.
