leveling kit

Default leveling kit

im a first time dodge owner, i got a 2010 ram SLT Big horn 4x4. im wanting to either put a 2.5 or 3 inch leveling kit on it. what are some of the good ones to look at? thank you.

By leveling kit are you referring to lifting the front only? I installed a 2" tough country leveling kit on my 2012 1500 and she sat nose high. Had to add an inch to the rear as well. Tough country spacers bolted on the shock without doing anything else to the front end. Took about 2 hrs in my driveway and cost around $80. Coil spring spacers on the rear ran about $60.

Go with a 2". Anymore than that your CV shafts wont like the angle and wear prematurely... some vibrate in 4wd as well.
For 09+ 1500s a 2" levelling kit and heavy duty springs in the back are the cats azz.
