I am wondering what you guys think of the new truck. I have been looking at pics and even building my own. One question i have is i see the column shifter in pics at the dealers. I thought they were going to the dial shifter ? Is that an option ? If so, its not on the build section.
Also, when i build my own, i see no option for air suspension.
And do the Express trucks come with a plain dash and radio and instruments ?
And when building a slt, i cant get a 3.92 rear end, only in sport and express ?


Also, wondering what you think of the new silverados. I must admit, they are an inprovement. Havent seen much on options or reg cab sports, but look good. Just wondering what your thoughts are, thanks

 

The first gen of new 2013 1500 Rams have the 4.7 with the column shifter, the 8speed automatic with the dail shifter is backing up the Pentastar V6.

I have no idea as to when dodge will start building the 1500 Ram with the hemi and 8speed automtic, most likely this is the truck the majority of Ram buyers want..

AS for GM, I'm interesetd in the specs on the 2013 new engines ( same displacment, 4.3 V6, 5.3 V8 and the 6.2 V8) 2014 will be Gms 2013 truck.

I have a foundness for Gm trucks, esp the 5.3 V8, but this pressent gen of Gm truck feels like your driving a ruber made tote box and ground clearance, even on the Z71 is a joke.

4 wheel disk brakes are back on the GM trucks for 2013.

I do like the ride of all Gm trucks and I'm verry curious to check out the new GM.

My bigger question is when will the 2013 HD rams be ready, gotta have my 6sp man transmisson just to get a CTD..
