Default 2012 ram muffler delete

Im might be going thursday to have this done.

Whats the differences if any I can except? (expect the sound)

Is there any reason why I shouldnt?

No reasons, as long as you like the tone. The CATs are the issue. If you start removing those then you have other worries.

Removing the muffler entirely, you`ll likely lose "some" back pressure, which will make the low-end torque a little lazier. Doubt you`ll see any increase`s in mpg or power either, it`ll just be slightly louder without the muffler... if you`re just lookin for louder, rip it off. You`ll likely have alot of cab drone without the muffler. Are you doing anything with the resonators at the tail tips..???

A "Y" pipe is unlikley going to change the sound, at least not enough to hear much of a difference anyway. If you plan on more engine mods later, then install a better "Y" pipe. I believe MAGNAFLOW makes a custom Y pipe. Other than that, its really a waste of time and money. Just my thoughts on it.

it changes the sound alot on it however havent did it yet been thinking on a actual muffler.
