Default Locking your center armrest/console compartment?

Has anyone come up with an easy way of locking the center armrest/console? I keep a lot of job-related paperwork there including job ticket book, extra business cards, etc. & really do not appreciate having it rifled-through & customer promotional items pilfered when I take my truck in for routine service. Thanks!

Good question. I cannot see any way to do it aftermarket?
If it can be done, someone here will chime in.

I don't see anyway to do this...

Easy option! Take it with you when it goes in for service... If it's that important bring a back pack and put it in there. Then it's in your possession.

Not sure about locking it, but in order to keep service techs, car wash workers etc from rummaging through it, how about one of those cheap window alarms? I know they sell them at ace hardware, lowes, harbor freight... its two pieces, they stick on, work with a magnet...when the two pieces are separated a loud piercing alarm sounds, you could stick it on the inside maybe, prior to taking your vehicle in somewhere flip the switch and set the alarm. It wouldn't keep them from opening it, but I bet they would close it back real quick.

Another option is, a lock box that would fit inside the console, the type they sell for under seats or in drawers. measure the inside of the center console and do a quick google search for lock boxes. something like this------> http://www.jeep4x4center.com/bestop-...Fct9OgodaVIARQ

I know they sell console gun vaults, but they are pricey... like 300 bucks pricey. But a quick search will yield all types of lock boxes that would work, for 50 bucks or so.
