Default Radio Problems

I have a 2009 Dodge Ram with the sirius/xm in dash screen radio. Just recently I have noticed that when i get back in truck, the radio will be switched to FM from being on SAT. It also will not keep the station when I get back to truck. Is there a memory battery or do I need to take into dealership? Thanks

Bscill,

Are you losing your presets too? I would recommend taking it to your Dodge dealer. If you would like assistance setting up an appointment or have any inquiries, feel free to PM me.

I know its not of any help but on my '10 i have the rer radio and a couple times i have noticed when i start the truck the radio is turned off, i had left it on sat. When i turn it back on all my presets are lost, my clock is reset and the radio is set to fm. Its like the system was reset or lost its complete memory.
Even the navigation was reset to the default state (michigan)

I am not losing any of my pre-sets. When I turn truck off and then get back in, the station is on a different station. It doesn't matter if its SAT or FM.

Could it have something to do with driver memory? Isn't it supposed to set all the mirrors seat and stuff including radio?

I don't know but perhaps that could be?

Dealer said it could be from not enough cranking amps from the battery. Battery could be getting bad.

I have the same issue. Everytime i turn my truck off it switches from aux to sat. I can rule out the battery because it brand new. This has always happened. I've been meaning to replace to stock radio, it an overall pos.
