Default 2013 ram 3500 limited

Hey guys, im looking trading in my 09 1500 laramie and getting into a 3500 laramie limited but i cant find a lot of info on rams website on them or how much that package starts at (in canada) or what it includes. I am sorry if this is a open topic right now but the search function isnt working on this computer. i cant even put in hemi and return any results. Do you know if you can have painted bumpers like the sports ? Will it be more/less $$ then the longhorn? I will be getting a HO with the Aisin (if they ever arrive off the line) and was also wondering if there would be a high idle button option. Has anybody looked into a 120v plug in the box of the truck ? i will order one with the RamBox system on the 6'6 6'4 or whatever length it is and as much as id like to wire one into the storage box i dont want to compromise the sealing of the box. A guy i know has a power wagon with the ram box at work and his compartments stay pretty well sealed. I was impressed. Little disappointed about losing the hard drive but i guess with the SD drive and what not its not a total loss. Do you know if they are doing away with the cd player and making it an added option or are they just relocating them into the centre console in all the trucks?

Another question, i am looking at a BDS 8" long arm kit once it becomes available. would a 35" tire look way to small on the truck ? I have 37's right now with a 6" and not sure if bigger lift and smaller tires would really look goofy

09RuffRam,

Have you tried to build and price out the options at www.ramtruck.ca. The 2013 Laramie with Aisin will be less expensive then the Laramie Longhorn with the Aisin. The CD player does not come standard on all the 2013 Rams and is optional, however it is located in the center console. Only automatic engines come with the high idle option. It may have to be enabled at a Dodge dealer with a scan tool, but after that it will function using the cruise control button while in park and will start at 1000 RPM and can increase using the RES+ button on the steering wheel. It will jump up 200 RPM, to a max of 1700 RPM. If you are looking for specific options for the 2013 I would recommend contacting the sales department at a Dodge dealer they will be able to answer any inquiries you may have and provide you with prices.

If you have any other questions in the meantime or need assistance locating a dealer PM me and I'd be happy to help.

i tried to build a truck and the limited option didnt exist. Although i found on the american one that it came in a grand or two more then the longhorn so i guess it will be the priciest of them all. All i want is the painted bumpers, the interior is the same as the longhorn basically in black. Very disappointing. I dont really like all the debadging either. its too bad how in my opinion that they pigeon hole ya on things like options. Laramie seats, sport carbon fiber dash, limited bumpers are all things i want but yet ram doesnt allow them to all coexist in the same truck.

Thanks for the info on the high idle. The dealership here wont probably be able to figure how to do that programming tho. I think they are a lil slow. They make harry and lloyd look like geniuses. That and they are crooked.

All 3500's are currently being held in storage. We don't know why. Limited is not currently an option, but should be a later addition. Whether it's available as a 2013 or 2014, I don't know. Not sure Ram even knows, they've completely botched the launch. BAD.

Dodge ram canadas web site is not the best for quick information, its better to build your truck on the States dodge ram web page, using a American postal code...

Thiers still a lot of unsold 2013 hd rams on dealer lots in Canada ...as dealers went in panic mode ordering up non urea injection trucks...

For sure. Lots of units sitting on lots around here for 15-20K below MSRP and they're not moving. Lots of guys might have swung the RAM to avoid urea but not so much now that we're on the same playing field.

I also agree that the canadian site is pretty useless compared to the details available on the american one. Do be carefull tho as some trim levels and options aren't the same up here. I was looking at a us truck which was a limited trim down there and according to the site here didn't exist. I went to one of my local dealers and got straightened out, for 10K more of course
