Sorry if this is a stupid question but I just don't know much about them. I wanted to level my 2013 Ram but don't want to run into the vibration problem that most leveling kits cause. it seems the 4" kits don't have this problem but I really don't want 4" of lift. Is there a way to only install the 4" lift on the front then use a 2" spacer lift on the rear to level it and avoid the vibrations?
I forgot to mention my front sits 2.75" lower than the rear so I wouldn't have a problem with a 4" lift in the front then just bring the back up so it sits level.
I put a 2.5" in the front and a 1.5" in the rear of my '09 and never have had any vibrations, knock on wood! Much better now and wish I would have done it right away
Yea I definitely want to do it right away, I just hope I have one of those trucks that doesn't have the vibration problem. I guess no one has tried a 4" kit only on the front and some sort of spacers on the rear.
Your truck Is probably going to sit a little nose high with just the 2.5" in the front. Just a heads up. I'd go with 1.5" in the back if I could do it again I stead of the 1" that I put in. But I like the way it sits.
I want it to sit level without the front end rake. Should I then just go with the 1" or will the 1.5" make it sit level? I measured the difference between the front and back on both sides and the front sits 2.75" lower.
The 4 inch rancho kit I installed on my 09 lifted the truck 4 inches in the front and 2.5 inches in the rear. My truck sits almost exactly level and has no vibrations.
