2012 Ram - slight shudder 1-2 seconds after coming to a complete stop?
I'm getting a slight shudder ~1-2 seconds after coming to a complete stop on level ground. It almost feels like the truck downshifted, but I'm already stopped. RPM's don't seem to surge, so I'm at a loss as to what it is.
Around 3/4 tank there is a definite thud a second or so after stopping. I was freaked out at first, now I just expect it a couple days after filling up.

Ram trucks equipped with a 32 gallon fuel tank can experience a sloshing sound or a bump felt when stopping at low speeds. The condition happens, as Talon_66 mentioned, when the fuel tank is 3/4 to 7/8 of a full tank and most noticeable in stop and go traffic. This is normal operation.
You can confirm if this is the problem by filling the tank completely (do not over fill tank) and then road test.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact your Dodge dealer for further review or PM me for additional assistance.

Not only the 32 gallon, happens with the standard 26.
