The wheels i've chosed are 17x9, and have 2 offset options. One is -12mm (4.52" backspacing) and the other is +18mm (5.70" backspacing). I could use some help deciding which to go with. I'm concerned about the 4.52" sticking out too far, and the 5.70" not sticking out far enough.

1) Anyone know for sure what the offset/backspacing and the width of the stock OEM 17" wheels is? I think they are 17x8, but I have also seen people say 17x8.5. For offset/backspacing, i've seen everything from +19mm to + 25.4mm, which depending on the width of the wheel puts the backspacing at 5.75 to over 6.00.

2) How tough are the hubs on these 4th gen Rams to handle tires/wheels backspaced to 4.52"?

3) Anyone have pictures of 17x9 wheels with either 4.50"ish or 5.70"ish backspacing that you can share?

Well, here is how it turned out.
285/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs
17x9 Black Rhino Moab wheels, 0mm offset, 5" backspacing

No rubbing at all, plenty of room. I'll still be doing the Mopar 2" lift (Bilsteins in the front, new coil in the rear), but it fits fine as is.
