Default 0-60 and 1/4 mile time do not meet stock times

So I've done some mods to my truck (CAI, Mufflex 14" and BD Gt Hemi Plus) but from what I've seen through researching my truck isn't even coming close meeting stock times even with mods. I've seen times in the high 6s in auto reviews on stock quad cab 4x4s and I'm only pulling 7.6 sec. 0-60 at best. I had the performance tune loaded, tc turned off via the tuner and tow/haul on. Am I missing something or is my truck actually under performing. Can anyone tell me what they're running for time whether its stock or modded?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Your info says you have a crew cab, but in your post, you describe quad cab times...? Crew cabs are heavier than quads. What tires, what gears are you running compared to all the others you`re comparing "your truck" to. Even the smallest thing can upset time greatly.

I find auto rags often have rosy 1/4 mile and 0-xx times.

Just curious, what times are you running ?
Because my basically stock ( intake and exhaust at the time)
4x4 2011 Hemi Crew Cab ran a best of 15.7 @90MPH with the 3.55's
I haven't been back to the track yet since my torque converter upgrade,
but I've also added much heavier tires since then so Im curious to see..

Lu,
Yes I do have a Crew and i do realize that there is more weight on the crews but I was just using quad cab times for a general comparison. I figured the my times should be a little better than what they are after mods. I still have the stock Goodyear Wranglers and 3.92 gears. I'll go out tonight and do a couple more runs and post my results.

By results I presume you mean the times you are reading off your tuner? I have found them very consistant and surprisingly accurate esp with a "copilot" operating it.

Question is, did you time it before your mods? A lot of the aftermarket "performance" items are really just good for making your wallet lighter and your vehicle slower. In particular the muffler change you made could be causing your issues.

I've been using my tuner for time trials. Otherwise before the tuner I had no accurate way of time tracking. I'm not saying the mods didn't help because they definitely did. The first tune I ran was the stock BD tune and pulled a 8.4sec 0-60. After switching tunes and seeing how the tuner works (just got it a week ago) I was able to bring it down to 7.6sec 0-60.

almost a second quicker with just the tuner? pretty good, dont mean to hijack your thread, i have the 09 hemi crew 5.7,cai, magna flow, qtp elec.exhaust cutout, superchips cortex tuner, but lower gears then yours, i would like to see how fast mine is, i saw a review on tv on a 2013 quad claimin close to 10 seconds on 0-60 i was like wtf? i know my crew does better then that, also a note, besides gear ratios, some trucks were being produced w 5spd same time as the 6speed came out, to lower price
