Default Uconnect 5.0 problems

Just got my new 2013 Ram 1500 and I am having immediate problems with the Uconnect 5.0 radio.
My vehicle has the 5.0 Uconnect & the backup camera. Backup camera is working in reverse as normal. Once you shift into drive the backup camera stays on for a few seconds and then the uconnect screen goes grey and then solid blue. None of the Uconnect radio features will work. No radio (Am, FM or sat.) no voice, phone, compass. etc.
Everything was working fine for the first week and then this started.

Has anyone had similar issues with the Uconnect 5.0? Is there a way to reset the Uconnect and try to reboot it?

Thanks.

I'd take them in. Sure, dealing with service departments is a pain, but the issue isn't going to get better on it's own.

If you're looking to reset the Uconnect just to see if it helps, disconnect the truck battery and leave it for about 30 minutes. That should give any capacitors in there plenty of time to drain.

I took my truck to the dealer, they told me that they are talking to Chrysler about this issue, they kept my truck at least 5 hrs with no luck. I took my truck back because need for work, but best part is next morning when I start my truck and spuriously every thing was working perfectly, I got lucky!!!!

Angry Radio frozen on RAM emblem.

Last night I started my truck and the radio remained on the emblem and never left. I have just under 6000 miles. I can only listen to 1 radio station and everything else doesn't work with it. Pulled the fuses and even disconnected the battery, no luck. hoping to get it in the shop soon. keep hou posted on the outcome.

I'm having the same problem. I bought it yesterday with 20 miles and drove home with no problems. Woke up today and run to the store and it's fine. I get back in to go home and the camera won't go away. Nothing works. Dealer is full and said to come back next week. I can't take off work to get it fixed. Hopefully it's a quick fix.

Finally got all of my electrical problems resolved. Dealer replaced the entire radio with a new unit and replaced the clockspring inside the steering wheel.
Clockspring was sending bad electrical signals to everything connected to the steering wheel mounted controls. (Cruise, radio, etc.)

How long did that take? I'm only off 1 day a week and it's a Friday this week. Hopefully I can drop it off in the morning and pick it up that night or early Saturday.

Me to, I've had mine for 5 months and yesterday it began rebooting randomly. Then I got a gas cap warning, and then check engine light. Took it in, they flashed it and got the gas cap loose and check engine light to go off, but they could get the radio to reboot. Drove home a mile away it rebooted, and then again 5 minutes later. I will be going back on Monday to see if they can fix it.

My wife thinks it's the government hacking our systems.
