I have a new 2013 Ram 1500 8.4 uconnect with out the back up camera. Anybody know if i can still install it? Thanks Don

 

I asked the same thing... still no answer..
I found some OEM "fit" on ebay for $200.
Asked the service writer about them and if the truck is pre-wired for it.
No definite answer as of yet!

 

i don't know about the factory one but i know you can install one with a lockpick. then you can use the screen for other things too.

Have you check with the dealer for a back up camera option? Yes they do make them and yes I have install them too. But the problem is, once you have it installed you will need to the dealer to add the function to the TIPM module. I have only done factory installs.
