SC 3865 Advanced Tune Options
I have been to the SC Forum, and the Dodge Forum, and unless I’m missing it (Might be missing it) can’t find anything on an advanced tune. I am struggling with using the OOTB defaults for the 93 performance tune, and really want to get this puppy going off the line. I have disabled MDS, but there are so many options for TM, etc, I’m trying to either find a good resource, or find a good suite of settings to use.
Just asking if there is a thread on here that has any guidance..
I vaguely remember a member with an orange (extremely nice) Ram, even remember his image with a trophy next to the truck and could have sworn he posted his tune, as i think he worked directly with SC on the programmer years ago...
Any help is appreciated, as always..
Thanks gang.

Suggestion... Torque mgmt : you can set torque mgmt to the User setting, then set part and WOT to about 6 percent for all settings within. Shift points : 1-2 and 2-3 shift point to 6000 rpm. If you have the optional trans schedule, set that to User, then use one of the sample schedules at above link to start with. Good luck.

Thank you both for the information, I do appreciate it,
So I finally purchased the Adv trans tune option. So, im sure this is a "Tune Newbie" question, but in the Torque Management section under the advanced tune, it has WOT and then each gear 1st, 2nd, etc. In each one is a RPM level and pre-set %...So taking this number to 6% is okay? I am asking loaded question, as Im not looking for a waiver..
..Just want to be sure this is correct, I figured I would go in and see like 10 or 20%, but im seeing numbers in the 70, 80 % range. I understand that this number is the % of TM you want to peel away from the vehicle...I also looked at the Excel chart and guessing TP is Torque Percentage..Can anyone confirm a % they are using across the board for WOT and for every one of these separate gears..
Thanks, again gang..

I've been running at 6 percent for all settings in wot and part throttle position for about 2.5 years now. Yes, I remember the factory settings were pretty high too. Do both wot and part throttle for each gear. I need to get new tires again, with this tune setup, 3.92 gears and cool dry roads, the back end is starting to break loose.
wow. so I'm guessing this is the part (TM) that finally gets this truck moving off the line. that's what I couldn't understand, all this engine, and its like I'm pulling a boat anchor almost. .thanks very much kddsRam, appreciate the info..
