So I have been driving my new 2013 ram 1500 crew w/ uconnect 5.0 and stock speakers for about a week. I can't place if my front tweeters/miss just suck or if they're blown. Every high pitch sounds "scratchy" and I knew it was an issue when my wife pointed it out!

Anybody else have similar experiences with this system or should I have the dealer look? I've also been looking at crutch field but am having a hard time buying new speakers out of a NEED versus want. I've gone as far as just using the rear speakers until I can figure it out.

 

Cant expect much quality from chineseism made crap... replace them, you`ll be glad you did.

 

Mine sound fine. Will probably end up doing the Kicker upgrade.
