Default remote start timeout

Needs to keep running more than 10 min. to melt the ice from the windshield. Is there any way to adjust this to make it run longer. It's a 2013 ram 1500 Laramie 4x4.

Since I'm kind of a smart-*** anyway, let me just say that if you need to idle the truck more than 10 minutes to clear the windshield then perhaps your better investment would be this:

You don't actually have to use it yourself. Make your wife come out and do it!

j/k I'll look into it today for you, see if it can be changed.

It's supposed to be 15 minutes. Not changeable.

What if you were getting ready to go to work, you sat down and fell asleep in the chair (never happened to me) and your truck ran for hours and sucked all your gas?

It can be started more than once, 2x I believe is the limit. Then the EVIC will display disabled due to excess restarts.

Yes twice, @ 15 minutes each time. If that isnt enough time to melt the ice off the windshield, you got bigger problems.

It doesn't matter to me how many times it can be started, I am only concerned about how long it runs and if it can be changed.
