My tailgate won't open. The truck is unlocked and the tailgate is stuck. Is there a trick or do I have to take it in for repair?

 

Lock and unlock it with the key and try again. If that doesn't work then either take off the panel inside the tailgate and manually pull the rod or take it to the dealer to figure out.

 

Also, there's a setting on the radio settings page which changes whether your key fob unlocks the tailgate with the unlock button. Perhaps that's not enabled and as such is staying locked? You could manually try to unlock the tailgate with the key and see if that works (or change the setting on the radio).
