2010 Ram Overhead Console Removal How To
Hello to all! This is my first post and I'm looking for a little assistance.
My wife today (god love her!) opened and closed the rear sliding window but this time the button got pushed up into the overhead console. The button still works so I'm hoping I can pop off the console and remount the button.
She has the 2010 1500 model.
Has anyone else had this happen to them? Suggestions on removing the console?

Welcome to the Forum!
I'm sorry to hear of your button issue. The buttons can be sensitive, depending on the amount of pressure applied. Have you had a chance to contact our dealer?
In the area closest to the center of the vehicle, insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver between the black bezel and the console body and pry the black plastic bezel downwards.
You will find that the plastic tabs that hold the switch to the bezel have split or are broken. I fixed mine, but I would suggest ordering a new part. I think they beefed up the tabs on the new part.
