When charging my phone from the USB power port (not the USB media port) under the center armrest, I noticed that the power does not automatically come back "on" if I shut the truck off and restart.

In order to get the port to resume charging, I have to unplug the device and re-plug it in after the truck is re-started.

Is this normal, does the port need to "re-detect" a device being plugged in before supplying power?
