Default level and lift question

I'm getting a 2.5" level on Monday. If I put the adjustable bilstein shocks in addition to the leveling kit, would it lift the truck as well?

Yes, it will lift the front 2.5". It won't do anything for the rear.

It will only lift the front if you set it that way...but why would you get both? There isn't any reason to get a level spacer AND adjustable shocks, just do one or the other.

Sorry, didn't read the question thoroughly, Whiteout is correct. And if you are trying to decide between one or the other, I recommend the Bilstien's.

Whiteout, we have the same truck and I see your mods, why did you also go with Mevotech upper control arms?

Basically I did this as a "better safe than sorry" situation. I have heard some people say their ball joints separated when adding a level kit to a late 2013 or 2014 RAM, so for the $70 it cost me to buy the Mevotech UCA's, I figured why not. I must say, they did improve my front end handling...when I hit a bump now, there isn't as much "hop" and the ride isn't nearly as rough/stiff. They are great quality..only down side is they are not a sealed ball joint, so they need to be greased once in a while.

Sounds good, did you install them or pay, and are they beefier than the stock ones?

I had them installed when I had the front level spacer put in, since it had to be taken apart anyway they just did it at no charge. I don't really recall the measurements but yes they are much more robust in design than the OEM UCA's. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade, especially for the price.

I feel like the only thing I need now to compliment the level spacers a bit further is a set of new "thicker" sway bars in the front and rear.
