You know those are for look only right? The scoops on top are for look only, non-functional. That's a lot of cash for something that isn't going to improve performance or functionality.

Do you recommend any scoop to purchase. I just like the way it looks didn't know if there was anything similar out there?

Please don't put your own scoops on the hood of your truck. As War Horse said, there is no logical reason to do this switch over, unless you're ok with spending more than $600 just to make the hood "look better"...money better spent somewhere else.

I love the looks of the Sport Hood and considered it well worth the extra $$ to get it. Most "enthusiasts" care about what things look like. Some things add performance, some don't. Like paint color or wheel style.

You can make the scoops functional on the sport hood. Making the holes is cheap but the hood at a dealership I've heard was over 1400 even tho the hood ' option is between 800 and 900 on the window sheet. There is also a kit that is a few hundred that will duct the air. The inserts in the hood can be removed and holes drilled or cut off the back and put normal screen on it with adhesive. I can't find the kit for the ducting but I saw it before.
Video fast forward to about 4:15.

yea my truck is an 09, i dont think those hoods came out untill 10 or 11, they look baddass, i would consider an aftermarket, ive seen them all over the place unpainted between $4-600. after paint, easy $6-1000. Thats pretty pricey, the problem with afterarket hoods can be, fitment and quality.

Looks like they came out in 2010. Quick Google image search of an R/T in 09 10 and 11 and 09 was the one that showed a bunch of R/Ts without it. I saw only 1 hood that looks like the OEM one and it apparently is plastic surrounded by fiberglass and it separates with heat. If you want that style it looks like OEM is the way to go. I wish my 14 came with it. I have the blackout edition and it would look badass with it.
