Default Backup Camera connection confusion

Hi everyone I have a 2010 Ram 1500 and I am installing an OEM backup camera. I am at the final connections but the directions aren't real clear about which connector to install the supplied wires into. It says to use the white one provided if the stereo doesn't already have one, but mine does have one and its grey. There are two ports that look exactly the same. Does anyone know if I use the existing connector and install the camera wires into it, or do I use the supplied white connector and install the wires into it and install it into the empty port?

The directions are fairly vague....

Thanks everybody!

Pictures would help. What radio are you trying to hook up to? The more info the better
