Has it been drinking?? Seriously, it could be anything. Any other symptoms? Gas mileage down? Check engine light on? Any drive ability issues? Hesitation? Etc.

When did they start MDS? I've noticed that my '15 appears to momentarily go into MDS when shifting. It's especially noticeable if accelerating slowly but shifting at higher RPMs, as the transition takes a bit longer. Since I have an 18" Magnaflow the "MDS blat" is pretty obvious.

adamj99,

Sorry to hear about your exhaust noise concern. What type of engine does your truck have?

Sounds like it's back pressure, I'm guessing your exhaust is not stock.

Have you ever noticed the annoying noise when MDS is on and you are at lower RPMS? Kinda sounds like you're running on 1 cylinder? Is it that kind of sound?

I hate that noise, and almost always put my truck in "manual mode" because that disables MDS. However, as I previously mentioned, it seems to momentarily go into MDS mode when shifting, and I often hear that same sound.
