DIY CAI for 4th Gen???
Last year I traded in my GEN 3 Ram Hemi for a 2011 Hemi. At the time of the trade, my new-to-me 2011 was still under warranty so I wasn't about to monkey around with anything...yet.
Fast forward a year later, and the warranty is now off and I am ready to start tinkering. First thing I want to do is put a CAI on. I made a DIY CAI for my GEN 3 out of PVC and using a Specter filter from instructions found on this site! I loved the sound, and (according to my butt-dyno) the extra grunt. I want to do the same thing with my 2011, but I have a couple questions:
- Has anyone done a DIY CAI for their Gen 4?
- IF so, anything different from the Gen 3?
- I bought a brand new IAT for my Gen 3 right before I decided to trade her in (and never installed it, so it's brand new). I'm wondering if I can use the same IAT for my Gen 4, or if I have to buy a different one?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
