Hey not sure if anybody else has ran into this problem before but i have a 2014 ram 1500 and recently bought a radio from a 2013 ram 1500. I got the code for the anti theft but the radio come on and turn off after 20 sec. Ive had it stay on and work for a hour or so then turn the truck off and when i turn it back on it does it again. Most times it will turn off and on the whole time but then there are times when it stays on everything work like its suppose to. Is there anything i can do or do i need to take it to get flashed at a dealership? Ps when i called the dealerships nobody has ever heard of this happening before. I went from ra2 the 5.0 radio to the ra4 the 8.4 nav radio.

 

I doubt that the dealership would "help" you in this radio swap, without taking it in for service. Nobody knows anything helpful at the dealerships unless money is involved.

Youmight be able to glean some radio info off this site... including resetting to factory settings in the .pdf sections
