Default 2009 1500 2WD steering dampener ?

So I searched the internet a little and I cant seem to find any type of brace or dampener for the 2wd. I'm trying to eliminate the steering wheel jerk when turning and hitting a bump or pot hole. It can be pretty bad. I have seen a bracket adapter plate for the 3rd gens but nothing for the fourth. I have read changing the front struts help but there has to be something else out there for us by now. I only have 60k miles on it. Any suggestions or ideas. Thanks
Wes

It has rack and pinion steering, how exactly would you install a steering dampener? I've got 136K on my 2009 and can't say that I've ever noticed the type of behavior you are describing.

www.dodgeramsteeringstabilizer.com

These are made only for the 3rd gens and can't seem to find anything similar for the 4th gens. I guess it would considered more of a brace/stabilizer. Rather than a damper. I think it's purpose is to eliminate the flex and movement of the rack. This was just a quick link I found but there are lots of company's selling these.

sounds like you have an issue. i would fix the issue rather than cover it up.

Good point. Maybe there is an issue. Now that I think about it seems more noticeable when going though a left turn curve, though it does occur going right as well. Was there a recall or TSB on tie rod ends? Where else should I look? Possibly the rack and pinion itself, bushings?

Does anyone know if an alignment issue would cause this? Would camber, caster or the toe make it hop and pull on bumps/potholes? Thanks fellas
