Default 2016 dodge ram 1500 5.7l hemi

i got a new dodge 2016 ram 1500 5.7l hemi- it has a problem when i let the truck set for about two weeks i start it up and the lifter makes a lot of noise for about one minute on the right bank of the engine. i can let the truck set for four
days. start up ok no noise.i will take it in to have check out next week. has anyone have this happen to them? day too day truck runs ok.

Just the lifters bleeding down. More than likely nothing to worry about.

What you are hearing is the famous Hemi tick. This has been an issue in some engines since the 5.7 came out, and it will not hurt anything. I have it in my Challenger, but not in the 07 Ram.

had it check out at dodge. told me the same thing. so everything is ok with the dodge truck.

I use Rislone engine treatment and it helps with the tick to reduce it way down..every time I change oil/filter I add 1/2 QT Rislone to 7 qts fresh oil. I also use MOPAR oil filters.
