We recently sold our 1998 Dodge 1500 5.2L We are now selling a Hypertech Power Programmer III. We returned the truck to stock settings before we sold it so it is now ready for any 1998 Dodge Truck/SUV with a 5.2L or 5.9L. It's only for that year of truck, 1998. They make different ones for different years.

No. The Power Programmer III marries itself to the first vehicle to which it is connected. However, you can program that vehicle back to stock at any time.
, now what i understand is that u are selling a unit used before, how do u know it would work say if i bought it for my truck ??
