Extended warranty
I recently purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 with 23000 miles from a dealer in OH. He told me that the factory warranty was no longer valid because the truck was made for Canada. When I contacted a Dodge dealer they explained that my factory warranty was still valid but he couldn't sell me an extended warranty cause the truck was from canada even though the truck was built in Michigan. Has anyone ever heard of this? If my factory warranty is still valid does the 5 yr/ 100000 mile power train warranty still apply? Thanks
That's part of the warranty, but, to get the REAL word on it, I would talk to Chrysler.
Some folks are driving trucks built for the US, in Mexico..... Other folks drive trucks built for the US made in Canada. Seems only fair that the US would build trucks for export. You can get a build sheet for the truck from here. Just click on the "equipment listing" link on the left, and enter your vin in the right box. It will tell you what market the truck was built for.
Is the Speedometer predominately in MPH, or KPH?

I believe you are already working with one of my colleagues who monitors Facebook but if you have any additional questions please let me know.

And that too depends on how stupid they want to make the dealer look for adhering to guidelines.
Just buy a good aftermarket extended and be done with FCA.
We started selling aftermarkets exclusively. FCA warranties clog up shops with their BS gotcha tactics and failure to produce enough parts. Most dealers have had enough of it.
