Have a 2018 Ram quad cab and having a problem with driver side rear door lock

Door will not stay locked ... if I hit the lock button it immediately locks then unlocks .... when I start driving and the automatic locks engage I hear it lock and then immediately unlock. I even tried manually locking and as soon as I close the door it unlocks. Any ideas?

 

Is there a chance someone has left one of the key fobs in the truck? That wouldn't seem to explain the doors unlocking while driving, but it could explain the others.

Other than that you may need to get a professional grade scan tool connected to see what the central locking system thinks is wrong and causing the doors to unlock.

Nope no other Fobs in the truck and it is just the rear driver side door unlocking

Oh, I missed that it was only the one door. Did you happen to notice any strange sounds prior to this issue, such as a louder than usual screeching/buzzy noise, when the locks would lock or unlock?

With it being a 2018 do you still have factory warranty remaining?

The only noticeable sound is when locking the doors and that one door makes a double locking sound (almost like a vibrating) so when I click on lock (either on door or with fob) it locks then immediately unlocks. Like I said it even happens when I manually lock door then close it (unlocks right away) . The only way to lock it is to close the door first then push down the lock manually .

I bought it used hut but I have the remainder of the factory warranty so made an appointment to take it to dodge next week
