I've been looking a lot at the Flowmaster super 44 to install on my 2010 2500 HD. Has any one done this install in their trucks? Any tips? Do's, Don'ts? My plan is to remove the old muffler install the much smaller 19 inch from front to back Flowmanster so my is do i just straight pipe it from there or should i just add a small pipe to finish the length i will be loosing. Any input would be awesome. Thank you.

 

Just add a short length of pipe to connect them.

Changing the muffler will change the sound, but, it won't give you any more power.
