Default Driver Seat Power Motor in my 2009 Ram

So I have a 2009 Ram 1500 and have yet to have any issues with it I couldnt handle myself until now. I had it in for detailing recently and the seat no longer works. Since I cannot prove the shop did it, they are not on the hook for this, so its up to me to get it working again. its stuck in the full rear position, and I am short so its a hassle driving with my toes.

I took the motor out and I can clearly see that one of the little metal bits that goes from the motor itself to the gears in the seat track has broken off.

That is a picture of the broken piece. toonie for scale. What is this part called? The dodge dealership near my house wants $1200 for parts (before labour) to fix it. to which I said "are you ****ing mental" and they laughed at me. so where can I get this piece?!

Looking here, it doesn't appear those are serviced separately. The whole seat base comes as a unit..... Even so, the run 500 bucks or more. Might have a chat with any local junk yards, see if you can get a used one.

So just an update. The lower part of the seat is indeed all one unit. I had no joy at any salvage yard in my area (small town) so I just took the whole motor for the seat out. So now it no longer moves, but it was set back as far as it goes; I am only 5'7 so that's not gonna work out. I attached the long bit from the motor to my electric drill and just moved the seat like that. So now at least it is in a position where I can drive comfortably. Its a good temp fix.
