Default Battery light

Hello!
ANY help would be greatly appreciated....
We have a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500.....
Replaced the alternator last week, 2 days later the battery light came on.
Had the battery tested, it wasn't strong but it passed, they did a draw test as well, and determined nothing was drawing power.
We bought a battery to be on the safe side.
The battery light was on every morning for a week, but would go out and stay out after restarting the truck.
This morning, it was on and stayed on. We drove home about 15 km, from camping. The battery was low and needed charging when we got home.
Checked all the wires and connections, battery and alternator tests seem to be what they should be....please help.
We have nothing after market that we haven't had since we bought it 4 years ago, only a dash cam & gps.

Check your warranty. The PCM is covered by the federal emissions warranty. Here is a copy from my 2017 warranty but I believe it also applies to 2015s.

B. Parts Covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles
If your vehicle has one of the following parts, this
Federal Emission Warranty covers that part for a period
of 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first,
calculated from the start of the Basic Limited Warranty
as set forth in Section 2.1(E). The covered parts are:
• catalytic converter
• powertrain control module
