I have a 360 short block with 57,4xx miles on it. This was removed from an 01 Durango that was hit down the side so the insurance company totalled the truck.

The block has been tanked and magged to check for cracks and there were none anywhere. The block itself looks brand new.

While it was at the machine shop I had them measure the diameter of each cylinder. The standard bore is 4.00" they all measured between 4.0015 - 4.0018. They recommended not to bore the cylinders. Reinstalling the stock pistons/rings or just purchasing new rings for a standard bore.

The crank did not need to be polished or turned. They also recommended using stock size main and rod bearings.

Crankshaft with main caps and bearings
Oil pan
Stock 360 camshaft
