Default Speakers

I Have a 99 Durango with the factory Infinity system. I want to replace the factory speakers with aftermarket ones. I have tried the Infinity 6022si and thay sound like crap. Any suggestions? Does anyone know what the radio rms is?

Try the Durango forum and eBay. Move to XM if you already haven't too

Those infinity speakers should sound pretty good, get rid of the factory amp and get a cheap 4 channel amp and hook the infinitys up to the amp. If you want to upgrade get infinity Kappa's, i have them in my ram and they sound amazing.

If you are willing to spend the money there are few speakers thatequal focal. Going with the k2p series may cost you 5 or 6 bills. Going with the BE series will put you in the 2k plus. The only problem is that they love power. I am running 2 tweets and 2 4", and 2 6.5" Utopia 165s, as well as 2 11" FOcal k2p subs, all in my magnum, powered by hifonics olympus and hercules amps AWESOME!!! You can also look at rainbow, scanspeak, morel, to name a few. If you want to spend little money then Infinity or Boston is the way to go, if you truely want aural pleasure, thats the way to go!
