Default Downloading FireFox On Vista

I'm running IE7 on Vista and have hit a roadblock trying to download Firefox/Mozilla. No error messages, the attempted download just disappears after a second or two......

Hmm I never had a problem downloading any Mozilla software onto the girlfriends Vista desktop. When you say "attempted download", does it make any progress on the download, or does it just appear and then disappear right away? Are you saving the setup file to disk or just having it open once the download has completed?

You may just want to adjust your settings with IE7. Could be some of the security crapola trying to prevent the download. You also do not need to download it. You can simply choose RUN instead of SAVE when you click the download box at Mozilla.com

I like that site! However, the website I need to visit on a daily basis is slvdweller....which is short for San Luis Valley Dweller. It' a local website near Alamosa, Colorado that deals with the ongoing news in the area......my major concern is oil/gas drilling in the region. Firefox is the only way to access it......
